The body properties depend on the chemical properties and physical structure of the polymer that is the main body of the sealant and can be accurately and reproducibly measured. The process properties are the relevant properties of the sealant that are exhibited during the manufacturing process. The properties of use (product performance) are self-explanatory and refer mainly to the comprehensive performance of the sealant in the process of forming the bond to the formation of the bonded joint, which depends on the functional requirements of the building joints to the sealant. Whether it is for the building envelope or building interior decoration; whether it is the window structure or other forms of enclosure and decorative structure, they can be viewed as a unit composition, then each unit will produce joints between the vast majority of the need for construction sealant to seal and fill.
